Chongqing Kangle Pharmaceutical Ltd., founded in 1988, was the first Sino-foreign joint venture pharmaceutical enterprise in ChongQing established by The Second southwest Pharmaceutical Factory and H. K. Yufeng International Company. Since our foundation, we have been working hard to expand our business and improve management system. Our products have been listed into the catalogue of China hi-tech products, 80% of them are for export. From 1998 to 2002, Kangle has been titled as the "top-100 enterprises with foreign investment" in Chongqing city and "Good Sino-foreign joint venture in Chongqing city".

Kangle was reorganized by Guilin Pharmaceutical Corp. Ltd., Chongqing Pharmaceutical Research Institute Co., Ltd., and Chongqing Yaoyou Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. in 2003. Linked by property rights, Kangle now have established a complete industry chain, including research, production of APIs and pharmaceutical medicine intermediates, and manufacturing of preparation, thus we enjoy good foundation for getting sustainable and fast development.

Now, our main products are Hydroxychloroquine Sulphate, Piperaquine Phosphate, Amodiaquine Base, Amodiaquine Hydrochloride, Chloroquine Phosphate, Chloroquine Sulphate, Cilostazol, 5-(4-chlorobutyl)-1-Cyclohexyl-1H-tetrazole, Diphenyl methyl-thioacetamide, and 4,7-Dichloroquinoline; 90% of them are exported to international market. Especially, Cilostazol, Hydroxychloroquine Sulphate and Piperaquine Phosphate were approved as “key new products of Chongqing city” by Chongqing Science Commission.

Quality is number one priority to us. All the products listed in BP and USP are produced under the latest technical standards. Equipped with complete QA system and leading inspection facilities, we do our production and business according to GMP standard. At present, we are working hard to establish an ICH and CGMP approved QA system, which will help our products to get the certificates of FDA and EDQM successfully.

Our future development is based on the leading technology. Up to now, we have established steady cooperative relationships with Chongqing Pharmaceutical Research Institute Co., Ltd., West China Medical University, Chongqing Medical University, and so on, thus we enjoy sustainable technical supports for our technical advancement. Now, we have over 170 employees, 32% of them are technicians who are working in the key positions of R&D, QC, Production, marketing and HSE, etc, we enjoy excellent organization for achieving safe, qualified and efficient operation.
